CTHA is proud to announce that we will be working with Rotary International to fund our water and toilet facility projects in Pavatkodichchenai.
The Project Director of Adopt-a-Village, Dinoba Kirupa, made special presentations at both the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill, Canada and the Rotary Club of Batticaloa, Sri Lanka on our vision and funding needs for this project.
The Rotary Club will be hosting a golf fundraiser to raise the required funds and seek matching funds from other chapters of the Rotary Club. The Rotary Club in Batticaloa will be managing the water and sanitation projects while CTHA will provide funds for building
a community centre and setting up a poultry farm. The income generated from this will be used for regular operations of the facilities, and to train the villagers in poultry farming techniques so they can eventually start their own farms.
The Community Centre will house a preschool, vocational training centre and a mobile clinic.
